On Sunday June 26, Amigos de Animales spayed or neutered 166 animals, 102 dogs and 64 cats.  This was a good clinic with some very sad moments for a couple dogs whose problems were so advanced that they could not be saved.  That is why, in addition to our clinics, we support education in the schools where children (and their parents through them) can be taught about the importance of caring for and feeding their domestic animals.  The work that Joan started in the schools is being carried on by Magaly and other wonderful Animales  volunteers.We always say that no animal will be turned away for inability to pay.  This month’s clinic provides a good    example of how that affects us and our resources.
